Arts Council (BVCAC) is dedicated to supporting local artists
and arts groups. The BVCAC acts as an umbrella organization, providing
members with aid and co-ordinating
community events.

What we do for member
groups:
- Can advise and share its knowledge to member groups
and individuals on local initiatives, programs, productions,
and finances.
- Provides low cost liability insurance.
- Council has a Charitable Status for granting tax-receipts
for donations.
- May provide interest free loans.
- Helps fund special projects through financing or grants,
i.e. books, CDs, instrument purchases for community
use.
- Makes funds available to new groups for start up costs.
- Advocates on members behalf to the provincial and municipal
governments.
- Facilitates cooperation between member groups.
- Provides photocopying - just bring along your own paper.
